Public Service Board

El Paso Water is governed by the Public Service Board, which consists of the Mayor of the City of El Paso and six board members, who are appointed by the City Council. Board members serve four-year terms and can serve up to two terms.

El Paso Water has 18 senior positions overseeing 51 departments of operations, plant facilities, stormwater, IT, compliance, legal, customer service, logistics, security, human resources, finance, communications and engineering.

Community

The El Paso community is our customer, and we give back through education, outreach and our Charity of Choice program as well as partnerships with other organizations.

History

The Public Service Board was established in 1952, but El Paso Water’s history is rooted in the early days of the city. When El Paso was incorporated in 1873, it was nothing like the thriving metropolis we enjoy today.
