Education and Outreach
Our TecH2O Learning Center is our hub for teachers and students. In addition to our facility and exhibits, we host special events and have educational materials, activity kits tied to TEKS curriculum and more to engage young people. Go to TecH2O for more information.

Charity of Choice
El Paso Water employees each year choose one charity and concentrate on making a big difference for that non-profit organization.
Employees host fundraising events on personal time and give of their time, money and talent to show their generosity and spirit of service.
Since 2009, the program has raised a combined amount of almost $291,000. Past Charity of Choice partners include:
- USO
- Project Vida
- AVANCE
- The Rescue Mission of El Paso
- Operation Santa Claus
To be considered as the Charity of Choice partner, letters to the utility need to be submitted by January 1 of that year. Be sure to include non-profit status, whether you are locally-based or connected to a national organization, specific needs you have, and why your non-profit should be our next Charity of Choice.
An employee committee selects the Charity of Choice partner in late January, and the Public Service Board provides approval, usually in February.
