Renovations/Upgrades
In 1990-1995, the facility underwent an expansion that brought it to a design flow of 17.5 million gallons per day. The most noted improvement during the expansion was the installation of sand filtration and ultraviolet disinfection. In 2015, a new 1.5 million gallon reclaimed water storage tank was installed to aid in the delivery of reclaimed water to customers on the west side of town. In 2016, the sand filters were replaced with Hydrotech Discfilters. These provide finer filtration and minimal maintenance.
