Breaking ground on Water Purification Facility

First-of-its-kind facility in the nation

โ€“ El Paso Water, joined by El Paso Mayor Renard Johnson and national water industry leaders, will break ground on a state-of-the-art Advanced Water Purification Facility. The unique facility will use a robust treatment process to transform recycled water into high-quality drinking water, which will be distributed directly to customers. The plant will provide up to 10 million gallons per day of safe, reliable and sustainable water. Completion is expected by 2028.
