Third academy set to begin in 2025
EL PASO – El Paso Water seeks engaged citizens who want to learn more about the utility and how it provides sustainable high quality water services. The third annual EPWater Citizens Academy is now accepting applications for the 2025 class.
EPWater’s Citizens Academy aims to increase understanding of water in our region through interactions and presentations from utility executives and subject-matter experts. Citizens Academy will include behind-the-scenes tours of EPWater facilities and infrastructure. The academy will spotlight how the utility ensures water security for our community.
Notification of selected participants will take place in early January. Citizens Academy is a five-session program from January to May and requires a time commitment of three hours on the last Friday of every month.
Interested individuals should email a letter of interest and resume (or general background summary) to [email protected] by Dec. 20, 2024.
