The Cedar Grove Waterline Replacement Program is part of El Paso Water’s ongoing commitment to replace aging infrastructure and improve reliability. The project is part of an ongoing citywide waterline replacement program.
Planned Waterline Replacement Program
EPWater will replace several water mains with new PVC waterlines along eleven different streets within the Cedar Grove neighborhood. The project also includes the replacement and relocation of new fire hydrants and water meters. A portion of a wastewater main will also be replaced and new manholes will be installed on Mimosa Street. EPWater will restore all roadways, sidewalks, driveways and other impacted surfaces.
The following streets south of the Valley Gate Lateral Canal have been identified for waterline replacement are:
- Mimosa Avenue
- Tulip Court
- Barker Road
- Coronado Road
- Baywood Road South (from Balsom to Mimosa)
- Baywood Road North (from Wisteria to Joshua)
- Papaya Street
- Mango Road
- Aspen Road
- South Carolina Drive
- Elder Road
